okay so we tried using the pump again last night... oh my gosh it is so rediculous. at least 5 different times it started beebing, and the display read "error" or something like that.. and we had to turn it off and fix it, restart it. it beeps so dang loud i cant beleive daryl didnt wake up. we had it wrapped up in a quilt to muffle the moter, so every time we had to fix it, we had to unwrap it and rewrap it. on the up side, i have been managing to get Daryl's tube fastened to her while she stays asleep!! im very careful, like the tooth fairy slipping her hand under a kids pillow to get a tooth and leave a quarter. hopefully we will get a new machine soon. scott and i want to just throw it out the window! i think i need some sleep
OMG....You guys need to request a new machine. The machine that we have for Kennedy is awesome. It is a enteralite infinity pump. It is super small and really quiet. Our GI doctor - DR. Yanni requested ours from Mountain View Pharmacy. They only carry these kind and not the Kangaroo pumps. You should really request one of these. If you guys need any help call or e-mail me and I will see what I can do.
